Your goals and treatment will be determined by you and the clinician as a self-pay client. \u00a0When going through insurance, our choices and treatment options may be limited as insurance determines for us what is considered &#8220;medically necessary&#8221; and could deny a certain diagnosis, number and length of sessions, and treatments.<\/li>\n<li>2.) No limits placed on treatment.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Due to insurance guidelines, limitations are often placed on your therapy process including, but not limited to, how many total sessions you receive, how many sessions per week, or even how long of session you may have.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>This does not always align with your treatment recommendations and inhibits your progress.<\/li>\n<li>3.) You will have complete privacy. \u00a0When using insurance, your information (diagnosis, nature of issues seeking counseling, treatment goals, how long the issue has persisted) is all shared with your insurance, anyone involved in processing and handling the claims, and future employers.<\/li>\n<li>4.) You can receive the specialized anxiety treatment you are seeking with Amanda Petrik-Gardner, LCPC. \u00a0Mrs. Petrik-Gardner may not be paneled with your particular insurance, however it will be more beneficial to your mental health to receive short-term treatment and pay out-of-pocket, than to use insurance, long-term, with a provider that is not trained in your particular concern.<\/li>\n<li>5.) While having a diagnosis on record on your health insurance can be beneficial for some, for others it could have its consequences. \u00a0It could compromise one&#8217;s ability to obtain life, health, or disability insurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Payments:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Payments can be made by logging into your <a href=\"https:\/\/amandalcpc.clientsecure.me\/client_portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Client Portal<\/a>, if you have already created an account. \u00a0HSA\/FSA cards are accepted in your Client Portal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/amandalcpc.clientsecure.me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-713 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.amandalcpc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Clien-Portal-300x99.gif\" alt=\"Access the Client Portal to schedule, pay invoices, see rates\" width=\"300\" height=\"99\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Good Faith Estimate:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate, explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the law, the No Surprise Act, health care providers need to give patients who don&#8217;t have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, which includes mental health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services,  which includes mental health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov\/nosurprises\/consumers or call our office at 785-477-9117.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rates: Psychotherapy (initial consultation, individual therapy, family therapy): $175.00\/session Individual Supervision: $100\/hour Group Supervision: $75\/hour Speaking Engagements (presentations): $175\/hour Full Trainings: contact Amanda (dependent on the number of individuals included) Private Practice Consultation (individual): $175\/hour Consultation (groups): contact Amanda (dependent on the number of individuals included) HSA and FSA cards accepted!
